AT THE CROSSROADS


X marks the spot.

Here is where

Worlds can converge;

A loose knot in

The floating quantumsilk layers

Of everything.

Like you, I was here

For a longtime

Yet a shorttime.

Your spirit was first revealed

When the August sun

Seared away the shimmering

Hereandnow,

And again

When icy winds froze

The past into timeless

Bluewhite stills.

You were always generous,

You showed me

The radiant colours

And seething shadows

That surround us all.

You said: At the Crossroads

We should think deeply,

The choices are ours,

But the roads

Are long …
