The legendary landscape of Northern England and the Scottish Borders is scattered with great buildings that tell the dramatic story of a colourful and sometimes turbulent past.

In this series of drawings, I have set about capturing the splendid castles, priories, pele towers, churches etc. which all form part of the rich tapestry of northern history.

The originals are drawn in Indian Ink, which I think is the ideal medium for expressing the solidiyty and splendour of historic structures, set as they are, against the ever changing Northumbrian and Border skies.

The print run for each work is strictly limited to 200. All prints are A3 size and individually signed and numbered. I will be adding new drawings to the collection regularly.
