Larmont: Artist and writer
Ian is a staunch supporter of ARTS ADVANCE projects. He regularly contributes short stories as a member of the Writer's Group and was the leading figure in the Community Course "Blueprints for Writing", which led to the publication bearing its name.
He is probably best known for his poetry. Mostly humorous, sometimes thoughtful, he has approximately seventy poems in print, appearing in over fifty children's anthologies by major publishers.
Two years ago, ARTS ADVANCE was pleased to publish his own illustrated anthology of poetry for children, "THE BEASTLY BOOK of poems by Ghoulies, Ghosties, Ghastlies and Nasties, Hag-bags and Scallywags".
He is currently illustrating his latests poetry anthology,"THE BEASTLY BOOK of poems by Ghoulies, Ghosties, Ghastlies and Nasties, Hag-bags and Scallywags, Volume II ......He is keen on recycling, "Why use a perfectly good title only once?" he asks.
