Alan is a key member of the Arts Advance Writers Group. Through his experience in the newspaper industry, he is able to make an important contribution to our anthologies and other publications.
His own writing has great descriptive qualities. His article describing the
almost forgotten plane crash of the French aviatrix Madame Franke, at East
Boldon Racecourse in 1910, was featured on BBC Radio Newcastle.
